I am excited to share this sculpture of Eddie Van Halen. While I can't disclose the project's purpose at this time, I promise to update this post with more details once it is completed.
For this project, I designed the model with multiple keys to ensure all parts fit together seamlessly. I faced a significant time constraint, which made the process challenging. Unfortunately, my SLA printer broke down, so I collaborated with a friend who handled the printing.
I had approximately two days to assemble and paint the sculpture. My friend also helped block out the stand. To achieve the marble effect on the stand, I used a combination of gloss black, texture spray paint, and tempera paint for the whitish texture. The Eddie statue was meticulously glued, primed, and painted. I used a paint containing bronze metal to achieve a realistic finish.
Thank you for checking out my work, and stay tuned for updates!
